Creating an S3 Bucket in AWS

By default, each AWS account can create up to 100 buckets. If you need more, you can request an increase to a maximum of 1,000 buckets by submitting a service limit increase. For more information on increasing your bucket limit, refer to .

Steps to Create an S3 Bucket:

Step 1: Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon S3 console at .

Step 2: Click on "Create bucket."

Step 3: Enter a unique bucket name and select the AWS Region where you want to store your files, then click "Next."

Note: The bucket name must be unique globally.

Step 4: In the "Set Permissions" step, disable all four options if you want to make your S3 bucket entirely public.

Step 5: Review the remaining settings, or you can leave them as they are, then click "Create Bucket."

Step 6: Enter your Bucket Name and select your AWS Region in the AWS Credentials Settings tab in the admin panel as shown below.
